Lips cut from dew and honey claimed

Mine and no longer am I

For myself –  for I am for this world

Of colors, divine, raw and enchanting,

Melodious although I swore stillness before –

Me stands a dream resting upon my hands,

Drowning, engulfing me into a dance,

Of limb and lung and hip and tongue,

And I find myself addicted to that taste

Tart yet passing for delicate sweetness –

Divinity upon your lips –

And I weep when it ends,

That world of you and me.

My take on Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD)
